An Old Salt with a lot of deep sea fishing experience who thought he would try the freshwater scene on a trip in 2005 and the 2006 Bass Blast and has been hooked ever since. Charlie’s partners hope his experience with big sea fish would translate into big lake fish – Almost pulled it off as he came in strong 2nd in the 2006 Bass Blast which just proves that Charlie was able to do what no other man, woman, child, beast, ghost or fantasy could do, put Dale in the money. He is now so obsessed with bass fishing he sold his ocean boat and bought a Skeeter, (said it was to take his wife fishing?). He must have a licensed captain drive this boat though as Charlie is still on probation for hitting a Coast Guard Buoy in the middle of the ocean, when there is nothing around for miles. Adept at putting out fires in small jon boats, does not have a good pair of hands anymore, drops things into the water – Could not stand fishing with Dale his partner anymore despite a 2nd place finish, is switching partners for the 2007 Bass Blast – retired for 3 years from the federal government and for 2 years prior to that while still employed.
